Elwin Hendrijanto

Elwin Hendrijanto is an award winning international film composer and pianist based in Jakarta and London. Born in Indonesia, his field of expertise crosses across multiple genres including classical, film music, and pop/rock.

As a composer, Elwin composes music for films, advertisements, games, and animations as well as concert pieces. His works have been performed, broadcasted, and screened all across the globe. 

His most recent film project as the composer is Leonardo DiCaprio’s animation feature film “Ozi : Voice of the Forest”. His other notable projects includes music for 2018 ASIAN GAMES, Beach Boys, Roy Orbison, 88Rising, Libera, BBC Concert Orchestra, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, and London Symphony Orchestra. In 2016 Elwin was commissioned by the Indonesian government to re-orchestrate The Indonesian National Anthem “Indonesia Raya” for the government new campaign of National Anthem. Elwin’s portfolio for advertisements has a broad variety from music for international luxury brands as CHANEL, Fincantieri, and Steinway&Sons piano to the theme songs and film music for major companies as BCA, Djarum, Bank Mandiri, SinarMas, Gudang Garam, Garuda Wisnu Kencana, Taman Safari Indonesia, 3 Network, IM3 Ooredoo, etc. In 2020 Elwin has composed and produced the theme music and whole score for the first Indonesian and South East Asian MOBA game called Lokapala.

As a pianist, Elwin co-founded a commercial piano duo project with pianist Dominic Ferris known as The Piano Brothers supported by the international piano brand Steinway&Sons touring around the globe. He has performed in various prestigious venues including the Steinway Hall London, Kings Place London, Esplanade Singapore, Abbey Road Studios, Vredenburg Utrecht, and many more. In 2019 the Piano Brothers was appointed to perform as soloists with the BBC Concert Orchestra in the prestigious program “Friday Night is Music Night”, the show is broadcasted on BBC2. The Piano Brothers was also broadcasted on BBC Radio 3 and London Live TV.

Elwin completed his Master of Music-Composition for Screen and Integrated Masters-PGdip in Piano Performance with First Class Honours from the Royal College of Music, London. His study was kindly supported by scholarships from the Prince Bernhard Cultural Funds. Previously, he graduated Cum Laude for his Bachelor of Music Performance at Utrecht Conservatorium in the Netherlands.
